Well guys, here's a few piccys of "the black pig", (my old '71ford torino GT) here it is, on the startline at Kirkbride ![]() and parked up at Whitehaven harbour ![]() leaving the line at the pod ![]() burning out ![]() the car also appeared in the rock video "start of something" by "the stone gods", (they used to be "the darkness") last year |

BUGGER, the video embedding didn't work ! ![]() check out the official video for the song on youtube though, we shot it in the malvern hills last January (DAMN cold) type in " start of something stone gods " and it's top of the list |

Love the Torino, tough looking motor do you still have it & did you beat the caravan at the drags ?:lol: cheers...Nige[/quote] it took a full day to shoot the video, starting at 8 in the morning (i set off from home at midnight).we finished filming at around 11 pm, and i lunched the gearbox about 40 miles from home !! It was a once in a lifetime experience though and something to tell the grandkids about in 20 years time though. I'm afraid i don't own the car anymore, i sold it back in October last year, and the guy who bought it, an officer in the RAF, drove it to Newcastle, onto a ferry to Holland, then drove across to his base in Germany !(i bet that was expensive, i averaged aroun 10 mpg out of that car !!!) and yes, i beat the caravan......even though the nitrous bottle was empty........and he had a holeshot !! lol |
