 Post subject: Engine service light

now and again the service light will come on and the revs will increase like a choke, but it random times when the engine is warm and running and clues?

My camaro has been converted to a carb so I'm not too knowledgeable on EFI stuff, but I remember seeing an OBD port. OBD readers are about £20 off ebay and make life much easier finding faults with injected cars. I'm not sure if the camaro would be compatible with modern OBD readers though.

You can code read it with a paper clip or piece of wire, this would be the place to start if its an EFI
