That's 1 mean looking 4th gen mate. I like the smooth front but how do you keep it cool ? Also, what do the MOT testers say about having no front reg. plate ?

With the larger rear spoiler it looks like the ebony cousin of my old Z28. Very nice.

Hi & welcome to the forum ;) . That's a very evil looking 4th gen you've got there. Looks in really good condition too. So what are your future plans given the opportunity?? Cheers.....Nige

Cheers guys.
I know a freindly MOT tester who over looks the front reg plate but will prob get a small one made up to keep the police happy lol. As for keeping it cool the front is mostly grilling just with small holes [hard to see in pic].
Future plans involve a cam and depending on money, engine internals. :D

Looks great.

What sort of cover is that over the lights?

Number plate spoils mine...... what is the law about front plates?

Can I have a small front plate? Can the number be on the bonnet?

Hi mate
They are Wade headlight covers, Their really good quality tho they do block out alot of light so driving on country roads at night can be a nightmare.
I think the law is, you gotta have a front number plate unless theres no possible place to mount one, like a bike or that atom kit car thing.
As for having a smaller plate it kinda depends on the mood of the copper, My brother has a small plate on his trans am and the police havnt mentioned it when his been pulled.
Anyway i shall be putting a small one on mine :)

I think the law is pretty clear on number plates - you gota have one and basically fully size. there is a slight allowance for imported cars with limited space - they are allowed to use Northern Irish font (slightly smaller) and a Square plate.
Again strictly speaking a stick on plate isn't legal either, but in practice....

In practice a small (but not tiny one) isn't likely to cause problems. MOTs are getting hotter and hotter on this. I put on a plate just for the MOT with double sided sticky tape. The tester knew exactly what I was doing, but it protects him more than me, because he doesn't have to pass something he shouldn't.

here's mine - not a great pic for the plate purpose - as I blanked out the numbers, but you can see it. its a small stick on - never been stopped yet.
