I can't believe how clever these people think they are when there isn't one brain cell bouncing inside their cavernously empty skulls. Like pretty much all 'reality' TV shows, rigged up to the gills and fake as a Politician's smile. Just my 2p
Cheers, Martin

Well i watched it

Where do we start

1) I don't believe that the father and son had that perfectly good and driveable car for years and were waiting to do it up.
2) That was a perfectly good and driveable car, plus it was all original, clean and a manual. Why would you do anything to it. Get one without motor, body damage etc and work on that.
3) If you're going to do excessive body work, see point 2 above.
4) Why do all these shows find it necessary to drop an "uh oh" moment where the car needs to be ready in 3 weeks. No one cares, do it however long it takes.
5) No way did that cost $20k
6) Customer asks specifically for auto (why buy a rare manual when you know you want an auto and those are everywhere). Specifically deliver manual gearbox. Ok.
7) No way did they take it from where it was with 3 days left, to body filler, sand, primer, sand, paint, interior etc. No way. With the amount of metal work that will have needed a lot of filler and primer shaping. High build primer too which needs days to cure. It looked cold and not heated in that place.
8) He was going for a bird theme. Ever heard of a Pontiac Firebird Leepu? Your vision of a bird is what the Firebird is about. Except, they look good.
9) That looked bad.
10) Why.
