 Post subject: piece of crap 3rd gen

today we got the box in, and it wont start now, theres no spark, the coil is fine though, it started on the button before taking box out and in again, a 75 amp fuse was blown too, replaced it and still no spark, i can see any wires hanging off, help me pleease :(

make sure you have bolted all the earth wires on well and that the coil wires are all on right, im just pulling my box out of the car now

i had loads of earth wires that bolted to the back of the engine, but mine may be different, just a thought but did u have to take the distributor out so that the engine would drop down enough, if you did make sure you have not put it back in a couple of teeth off as it wont fire up at all like that, are the plugs sparking? and do u have fuel?

i got in running now, a pin sliped out of a plug in the dizzy

who are you insured with matt, your quite young too, just wondering if theres a company that specializes in younger people with classics or whos quote was best

ideal glad you got it sorted, im with adrian flux, its the only place that would insure me, £213 is the renewal price that ive just paid.
Hope my trannys gonna be alright, its cost me about 450 in total but half of that is what i paid the first guy to bugger it up

awsome, is that any special policy? like limeted milage?

thats pretty good, i payed 425 for new everything replaced pretty much and extra clutch plates

it is limited mile's of 3 thousand on the american car scheme, but im never gonna do that many, if i get a day off in the week im gonna swap my box over, i really hope it works now
