I'm off oop north (well Lincolnshire) tomorrow for track Day with Motorpunk Club 18-30 for 'older cars',,
http://www.motorpunk.co.uk/carclub-18-3 ... yton-park/

It's supposed for cars 18 -30 years old, so 1984 - 1996 build, but I squeezed in under the Cougar rules, of old, sexy and fun... Should be a giggle... !!!!

Was a great day.... bit of trek, as I'd just driven 200 miles the night before getting home at 00.30am, so up at 4am to drive 150 miles up the A1, then drive all day and 150 miles back is a bit wearing...
Lovely little track, bit narrow and short for a big car like the Camaro, but great fun never the less. Great collection of cars.. Most memorable were a lightened Bently Turbo that understeered smoking tyres all the way round, a MK3 Supra stripped out with a Chevy small block V8, couple if lovely old Alfas, some very quick MX5's, Porsche 924S, a stupidly quick Lola CanAm T70 replica (for sale at £50k), old M535i, XJS convertible..

some pics (not mine) here

It depends how hard you choose to drive and dive into corners, A short track like Blyton is hard on brakes, but somewhere like Brands Hatch is pretty flowing so not too bad..
