We've been rather busy building another bike to take to Bonneville Speedweek again. This time with a record attempt firmly in our sights. Its in A-VBF750cc class - special construction, vintage, blown, fuel, 750cc

Its now on a slow boat to the USA and due to arrive a mid July ready for us to collect at the beginning of August and transport it from LA to Wendover, Utah to attempt a land speed record.

Its based on a BSA A10, using original crank cases and heads as required for vintage class. But every other part has been purpose made for the bike by my mate Briz at CCD http://www.ccd-briz.com/ I've been lending a hand where I can.

It's running a small turbo from a diesel Corsa and will be fuelled with 100% methanol. Hoping it'll be making close to 100hp, which given the stock A10 was around 35hp should be enough to propel us to a record. It's by no means been a smooth ride, we've had loads of problems along the way and it's been massively stressful over the last few months.

We've got a basic website and a facebook page if anyone's interested in following the progress...

Yeah, that turned out to be a very expensive wash out!

Bike is on it's way back, going to convert it to a sprint bike for the next year and run it at a few events. Then we will probably take it back next year for another go!
