Apparently this is the original 69' car. Sound is somewhat, nice ;)

Hi Ray, you knew that if you posted Trans Am stuff up I'd have to reply :thumbup: This is how that car ended up a few years ago, after a very heavy shunt whilst racing. People were banned from taking any close up pics of the car. It has allegedly been rebuilt, but how much of the essence of Donohue is left is anyones guess. Looking at the pic here, there's not much left of it & would probably require re shelling. The word was that the guy that did all of the original sheetmetal work, like widening the fenders etc, was hired to rebuild this car

Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast

I wonder why the pic was blurred :whistle:

That really got trashed! I wonder why they didn't want close ups taken of it? Must try and find some info on the rebuild, especially if it's the same guy rebuilding it, maybe it's still just as special? The name of the guy who built it is right on the tip of my tongue :think:

I wonder if this is the pic of what happened to the original? Apparently the sister car was located in Mexico, but caught in an earthquake which involved the structure caving in and crushing it :(
