A friend of mine here in Spain with a 3rd gen Firebird got front wheel bearings from a local supplier, just took the dimensions along.
Maybe you could do the same.

I´ve never found shipping with RockAuto to be over expensive and for a part that cheap I would´nt pay import or VAT.
Cheaper than BauerMillet I bet.

yeh shipping is cheap and shouldnt pay import, I do agree, but if I want more than 2 I would....

still shipping is double cost of part, thats the bit that annoys me, cannot understand how a little bearing cost so much to post.

Been to bearing supplier, they cross referenced everything. Sparce part in uk, maybe not used much. £30 cheapest over here

I'm thinking we should start up a parts relay service with anyone who is travelling to the states for smaller parts. Annoyingly the cheapest is about $30 for anything bigger than a letter, that's even if you just sent the small flat rate empty box. You fill it up to a certain weight and it'll still cost the $30 or so. All i needed was 2x tie rod boot, total cost of $2.99 - ended up spending $180 with bits and bobs as it was still $30 for shipping, to make it worthwhile. Luckily i did need other parts so i was justifiable, but it turned a small cheap job into a massive research effort and a lot of $. As long as the total cost is under £130, you don't get charged customs. Unfortunately, customs do consider delivery cost into that £130 limit, so if you are on good basis with the retailer you can ask them to give you a seperate invoice for delivery. You pay 20% VAT on anything over around £10 or so. I've run a couple of small parts before, so if i have any plans to visit again i'll let you guys know. Smaller parts only, don't want to try and fit a door skin into a suitcase ;)

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").
