The one I viewed recently had a leak. I`m guessing T tops are prone to this?

Hi bigkieko
I posted up this repair for all to see case anyone else needed to do the same but was unsure how to go about it
I guess they could be prone to this due to the age of the 4th gens now but all it means if like mine the foam seal looses its waterproofing goes hard and then acts like a sponge
Good thing is its a real easy fix 15mins max

Cheers
Stu

Car Details:1986 Camaro, bought into Spain by me in 1993.
305 replaced by a 355, 750 Demon carb, RPM AirGap intake, Brodix heads, Hedman Hedders, 3" Flowmaster exhaust.
Wheels are Summit aluminium 5 spokes, tyres are 245 rear 225 front BF Goodrich.
B/M transmission, battery relocated to the rear, GoodMark 4" cowl steel hood.
Location:Spain East Coast
I´ve not had a car with T tops, sunroofs yes, don´t like them either.
I bought an Opel Monza brand new, sunroof leaked from day one.

T tops do take a big lump of rigidity out of the roof and I think this leads to flexing which in turn
creates open seams leading to leaks.
