Hi,

My 68 has the hideaway lights that have been converted from vacuum to motors. It appears the relay has gone and I was wondering if anyone else had come across this problem and been able to fix it without buying a whole new kit?

The motors are still working fine when we bypass them so it's just the box. Apparently they don't sell that on its own in the US!

Any help would be great

Have you tried Detroit Speed in the US or is that where you got the kit from? If it's just a relay you should be able to get one seperately for it. Are there any part numbers or manufacturers names on the relay? If so you might be able to do a Google search & deal with the relay manufacturer direct, or get a British equivalent. hth, cheers.......Nige

Hi,

I've e-mailed Detroit Speed but they haven't replied yet.

There's no numbers on the relay so I can't even do a check and wouldn't know where to go for an equivalent over here - anyone have any suggestions as a start point?
