Hi All,

Something I need to think about while rebuilding the car, is security. Do you guys use modern alarms? and Trackers too? what are your recommendations for either?

Just no-one suggest Clifford, had a few of them, and all were rubbish!

Cheers,
Mark

Hi

Mine's a Gen 4 but just had the "fitted" alarm replaced as it went off continuosly, the one that has gone in is an Autowatch Thatcham Cat 1.

Certainly been reliable!

Interested in what others have done

Haven't done it yet, but will be fitting an alarm/immobilser to mine.

I used a Hawk immobilser in the past on my kit car, no problems. Nice simple install and secure enough.

Apparently, I have a Toad alarm fitted. I've never had it working, but the remote door unlock on the alarm fob has been A1 ever since I've had her.
