Due to the daily Chrysler 300 Touring have YET another problem and being dumped at the dealers I was FORCED to drive the Camaro on a daily basis for the last week now.... since I bought it it has done less that a mile just going in and out of the workshop so I had to put total faith in the camaro that everything was screwed together OK as it pressed into daily service..

I can honestly say that its been a real pleasure to drive it... starts on the button no problem at all.... picks up a treat, sounds good and handles really well. No suspension bangs, knocks, squeaks and it goes round corners pretty good. In fact I go on record here and say it drives miles better than my 67 mustang but the camaro does have power steering and power brakes which I'm sure make a huge difference...

Been really good to get back into a V8 again and see the looks on the faces of daily commuters in the traffic and zipping up the M5  .
Well pleased with the Camaro.....

Meant to say though it was bloody cold & drafty though using it with NO HEATER and a bit tricky on the motorway with NO rear view mirror or offside mirror..

So I will be sticking an advert in the wanted section but I would like to hear from anyone who can help out with a good heater, an interior mirror and a passenger offside door mirror please !

Did that with my 67 just out of choice, dived in and did it, how good is it!! I loved it.
With yours being reg'd in 1972 does it still class as historic for road tax?

Yep its still free road tax.

What was really funny though was when we drove down to Krispy Kreme on the sunday we were stuck at the lights behind a Nissan Leaf (never heard of one till then) and it had a badge on the back "Zero Emissions" as apparently its completely electric (?) and there we were dumping hydrocarbons like no tomorrow as we revved the engine just to annoy them....
