Hi Chaps

Has anyone ever used one of these ?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PONTIAC-SPITFIRE- ... 240%3A1318

I was just wondering whether it would be a good cheap modification or not ? If it does all the thnigs it says it does then I think I'll buy one. Does anyone know how it works exactly ?

As with every "rare" and "unique" item on ebay, I would take it with a pinch of salt. You could wait for a magazine review, but there are plenty of other similar systems out there, MSD being one of the most famous ones....just my opinion ;)

I agree with Mark, if you do a search on Google there's no information out there at all for this product other than loads of ads for people selling them. It's like those capsules in a tube you used to be able to buy to put in your fuel line. The sellers claimed they added lead content to your petrol & gave a gazzilion horsepower increase, total b*****s I'm afraid. Do you have any ignition problems at the moment or were you just looking to upgrade to this "ignition system" if it worked. As Mark says, far better to go with an MSD system that is proven to do what it says on the box hth, cheers..Nige
