Managed to get the paint runs sorted and finish the paint correction and waxing (the paint isn't without its faults :( ). Also sanded through to the primer on an edge

Here's the sag and run on the quarter. Used a razor blade to flatten it, then 1500 to get rid of any marks, then farecla g3 advanced compound on a rotary buffer. Turned out pretty good (which is a very odd thing for me to say on this project). Onto the suspension today...

That looks like a great bit of kit, thanks! Didn't have stock so no price listed either, will have to check some other places. It includes a 24mm which is what's needed for the upper nuts.

Ended up doing the same - didn't have a ring spanner above 22mm so used an adjustable wrench with a bar over it, so had about 18" of leverage and it's tight now, so i guess it will be ok. I guess if yours haven't come off yet it will be ok, as you use on track days and really put the parts to the test. Tried to remove the brake hose bracket but some genius put the the bolt hold in the middle of the bracket, which is where the 2 pipes sit ontop of, so you can only remove it with a spanner, which you don't have swing room on, so you'd need to take off the inner wheel arch to access it. Or, they could have just offset the bolt hole in the bracket . Ah well, it's tighter now.

Went to torque the rear but oddly, couldn't find a spanner or wrench that fits it. 22mm was too loose and slipped. 20mm was too small, so wouldn't go on. Looks like i will need a 21mm spanner and socket. But what confuses me is... i tightened it already... but how the hell did i manage that? I went through all the sockets and spanners and none fit. Quite confused and would like to time travel to see what i did

No progress this weekend, it was my friends wedding which was a whole weekend ordeal. I've got this week off, which will be spent cleaning the garage (parts will be coming up for sale shortly) and repainting it and finishing the last couple of bits. Very stumped about the rear suspension torque as i know i had been able to tighten it, seems some spanners and sockets have gone for a walk is my only conclusion. I think i will have to just keep an eye on the threads. I'm pretty sure i did torque them, i just want to be double sure is all. Straightened the steering wheel out earlier in the week, so that was another thing ticked off. I believe it is MOT ready as everything else now is just small interior bits. Just need to get the guts to drive it now, i'm a bit scared
