This looks like a pretty awesome show!
Would be up for the stand, but the reliability of my car at the moment wont allow me to commit. So unless i get a new diff by then (and that diff survives beating a Capri at pod on June the 1st) then i shall pop up Sunday and say hello.

Whens last day for signing up for the stand?
I think it two weeks prior to the event itself fiero
All you nead to do is email them yer name car reg and club name

Thats reminded me i got to book my campin tickets

Do you know the person with the capri then ? Is it round two ???

Cheer matey guess i will just have to wait till closer to the time then.
Yeah i know the guy in the Capri, its round 1 at pod but round 2 overall lol. He won the first one due to me running out of fuel lol
If you need another car (although not a Chevy or American) he would probably show his car too.

Any updates on this yet Ray
Sorry all, i've been quiet a bit lately with the ole job situation, but getting back onto things now. We're a month away  so if you haven't already, as Chevy Stu summarised:

email americanspeedfest@msv.com to get sent your free tickets.
They'll need, name address, vehicle details, which club (this one, obviously), and your address

Would be worth doing this sooner than later, as they probably won't be sending out tickets within the last week or 2 before the start of the show. I'll be finding out the number of our club attendees that have registered, it seems like it will be 15 or so

I'll be routing around for a pop up table of some sort this weekend, will only be a small table if anything. Will anyone else be bringing tables / chairs etc? Looking at getting a banner done too.

Chevy Stu also mentioned about meeting up at some point so we can all cruise in as a group. I guess most people are travelling in and passing by the red circled area? Maybe we can have this as final meet up point, so that there can be smaller convoys built up in local areas? The 'A' marker is the final destination.

Looking into it, seems like the best (and only) place there is a service station on the M25 is Cobham, doesn't show up on google maps as it was only completed at the end of 2012/2013. Long Lat is 51.305848,-0.408651 Marker 'B':

Looks like we need to arrive around 8.00am to 8.30 to get in before the event opens to the public. If we meet at those services suggested what time are we going to leaver there 7.30??
I am there for the whole day and plan to stay until the end of the event whenever that is.
I can certainly meet at the services suggested above.

I'll be staying till the end on Sunday (~6pm), in order to do the parade laps :) I thought they would be early in the day but still good fun.

Looks like it's ~45 minutes from Cobham services, so a 7:30 (maybe even 8am) departure sounds like a sensible time to leave from there. They haven't given me a time to arrival, so i'll check in with that just to be sure. The later to be able to sleep in on a Sunday the better :)

The tickets will be sent out towards the end of next week. 10 are being sent to me (inital ones i had reserved) and they have 4 additonal ones being sent to individual addresses. I'll find out who's are being sent individually and to me, so everyone knows what to expect.

Yes - the club stands will be marked out, but only accessible on the Sunday i beleive.. I'll check this out too so we can be 100% sure.

Cheers and speak soon!

Ray

There will be a thousand or more cars all trying to get and park up at around 8.30am, so will be fun.

Agree Cobham services would be a good meet, (unless you're in Kent or Essex) and no doubt there will be other groups cruising in from there too add to the spectacle,.
