You are very right sir. The success of these will partly be down to people being able to make the effort to get across to the shows / meets. As they won't really be on anyones doorstep we will have to bite the bullet to make a longer trip every now and then. That said, when a few of us met at Essex sweep meet earlier this year it turned out a lot of us owners and members don't have cars that are driveable.. AndyCamaro, Mark68, Flakmonkey, Rocky and myself would be a nice addition to any meet to beef up Camaro numbers and get a small area set aside in the south-ish area... but none of have cars that are ready :(

This is in within my reach (Stevenage) and the price is right @ £3 on the door. I'm working on the Camaro all weekend  in the irony that i can get it done in order to have free time to attend events like this :wall: If anything changes and i get fed up, i'll go down for sure.

At the moment it is raining cats and dogs in Watford, I had intended to go to Billing but with weather like this the place will be a swamp only fit for flat bottom boats and 4x4s dammit :x
If there is a break in the rain I might come to the 602 meet in my daily [ as my Firebird is still on a long journey to getting back on the road ].

Lots of us in the same situation with cars not finished, but still worth making the time to get out to the meets as I think it lifts the spirits to see other cars and owners and go back to the task of finishing our cars refreshed and inspired by the other owners and their rides.
Working alone on a long term project can be an endurance test and it's good to get away just for a break.
