Well, It's stripped. And it's in a hell of a state. The body Jig is the first thing that got made, I found all the dimensions for a 67 on the Internet so made a jig up, it's on wheels for now but I have put plates on under the wheels to allow me to bolt the jig to the floor when the time comes to cut the shell up and weld in the new panels.
The list of new panels is going to be big, I knew it would be but I was hoping more was salvagable.
I found some interesting parts during the stripdown, It has a 10 bolt Posi on the back, and also a prop cage, the big Carter Carb and Edelbrock intake have been put away safely, the Rallye wheels have already been blasted and primed ready for the Silver top coat and the front subframe has been steam cleaned in preparation for the strip/re-bush and paint job.
I found some old Drag strip timing slips in the remains of the Glovebox, so it seems the car had some strip time fun "back in the day" I love finding bits of history like this, it makes the car more worthwhile and more interesting.
