Excellent work, my only concern would be the polestyrene inner which can get damaged by paint fumes
I know when I was looking into getting my lid sprayed, the company I talked to mentioned sealing the helmet and pumping fresh air inside to create an over pressure preventing fumes entering the lid :!:
Thanks for the concern, I understand what you're saying  . I didn't want any fumes getting inside the helmet as not only could the paint damage the liner, but it'd also constantly smell of paint. I masked inside the visor opening & the base with a plastic bag to seal it up & then taped over that to stop it "flapping" about whilst being painted. ;). I also plugged the vent holes on the back with masking tape & I also masked up the air vents in the front where the "eyes" are gonna be.

cheers...Nige

Having given the helmet back to its owner, I thought I'd have a quick bash at painting one of my favourite characters from the movie the Dark Knight. It's not perfect, but I guess that what I've learnt from this one will help no end for when I do it again on a helmet

The Joker......

I reckon a bit more time spent here & there & it'll look ok

cheers...Nige

Thats real good Nige, i'd never picked an airbrush up till two years ago, always admired air brushing though, and know once you get the air paint thing right and you start learning, you pick it up quite quick and you do get better the more you try different techniques, im not as good as that yet and ill never be brilliant I don't think, but love doing it.
