my old camaro always flashed the light up, i never did anything about it as it ran sweet, i think it was the maf getting tired tho

My yellow iroc was the MAF it ran like a pig, but it is a 85 the sensors etc are a bit crude on earlier models

what s service mode and where will i find codes :O i was thinking off de-catting it, what dyus think? and also evry time the light has came on which isnt to often ive been driving around 50 mph in OD an everthing seems fine except 1 time the volts shot up to the top so i turned everything on (window demister etc.) and it was fine volts came down light went off? aww it gives me stress lol. i also want 2 get my cd player in it, where it will go has a plastic panel 'camaro' on it do i jus remove that an fire it in?? also wat oil do yous recomend to use an where cud i get it, i live in edinburgh if thats any relevance : ) thanx again x

you need to get to the connector under the steering column there should be a small plastic black cover over it, you need to jump terminals A & B with a piece of wire or paper clip then turn ingnition on but dont start your cooling fan should run this is service mode, the service light on the dash should then flash, It should flash once then pause then twice to show code 12 it will do this 3 times, then will go to the next code in the same manner so if it goes 3 flash pause 3 flash this is code 33 it will do this code 3 times again. when 12 comes back this is the end of the codes, All codes should be fixed in order they appeared.
