To compete against the Boss 302, needs to be the Z28, as it was back in the day of the First Gens :)

Do like the sound of the Boss, it could lose the rear quarter windows, as it does not do the asthetics any good

Yeah I was very temped with the NA high power model. Nice tech specs. Found something much more sensible price-wise to play with.

Car Details:2010 2SS in Yellow with Black stripes!!!
Location:Canada at present
I took out a Shelby Mustang from the local Ford dealer the other day, pootled up the road for about 10mins.............then turned of the highway, nailed it in 2nd, 3rd, 4th-got to 145mph in next to no time, definately quicker than my 2SS, really short shift, very smooth, seemed really well planted-far superior to my abilities anyway!
My only complaints was next to no blower noise at all and very quiet exhaust system.
I'm not a fan of the rear of the Mustang whereas I love every inch of the 5th gen.
I really need a ZL1

BTW, is it me, or did they use an auto Camaro (which is slower than manual) in the video :?: :?

Recently saw a Fifth Gear episode taking about a hot Mustang with a 150 mile max tank range. Looks like a very similar car. OK for the track but you're going to see a lot of gas stations on the ordinary road with that sort of MPG.

Car Details:68 pontiac firebird coupe project car,my aim is a street friendly, lightly modified pro.touring style.
Lowered ,mild body mods,400 cu in SBC engine, Muncie 4speed, 10 bolt posi axle, disc front drum rear.
68 firebird convertible ( long term project) Stock resto/mod style ,400 pontiac th350
Not normally a fan of the blue oval ,but with the new Boss Mustang the Ford boys have built something good .With the US economy in it's present state I don't see GM rushing to produce a Boss beater anytime soon ,some of the after market guys will have to rise to the challenge !
