Thanks Nige, really interesting reading the history on Black Magic. One question the name "Madness" keeps cropping up, is this the same car that's now running up the drag strip but painted a brown colour ?

Ashley Troope bought Black Magic from Terry Gibbs & renamed the car madness. He then re painted the car blue with blue graphics with a tube front grille. At this point it became a full on race car & wasn't street legal anymore. I've not seen the brown car, so I really can't say if it's the same car. I've not seen Madness about for some time now hth

Actually on second thoughts the car might be called "Nightmare". I saw it 2 years ago at the Hot Rod drags and again this year at MOPAR Nats.
