Yeah, thanks Mick, greatly appreciated but only got to see them this evening as I've had a real hectic day today, so sorry for not replying ;) why not post up the history of the car on here (with pics of course  ) with its own thread, as it's truly an iconic car in this country as far as drag racing goes :D . Cheers......Nige

The first time out for the car since the rebuild started :D . Unfortunately the pics don't show the ture colour as I've only got a cheapo camera  . It's a very "blood red" colour as seen on the new Audis (Audi Brilliant Red code LY3J), cheers...........Nige

This gets really confusing having a "conversation" over 2 web sites ;)

I never did see any pics of Georges Z/28 but he did go into quite a bit of detail on what he was doing with it. He had some parts for sale as well for 1st gens, stuff like front valance, slam panel, cowl vent panel etc. He wanted the Rallye wheels off mine when it's finished. I'd forgotten his name until you mentioned it, but it was definitely George Price that owned it prior to Chris Guy, who I got the car from.

The new 1400lb front springs are now fitted. These make the stock Camaro ones look as if they're made from pipe cleaners
