My wipers seem to sweep way too far, the drivers one goes halfway off the screen.

Could someone grab a pic or 2 of the stock set up please and tell me how long the arms are and what length the blades should be?

They are also a bit temperamental in so much as they dont always want to start again if they dont stop in the right place.

Always fun these old cars aren't they?

I'll try and find mine, they're in a box somewhere lol. I may have a spare motor unit for you as i may have sussed out what's wrong with the original but need to test first. I think most of the problems come down to the relay on these things. let's hope!

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Thats great, thanks.

Mine are the hidden ones, I understand they are different to the non-hidden ones. I dont mind which system I have as long as they work. I can always try and figure out whats wrong with mine.

I think the hidden system should have a double arm on the drivers side, which mine doesnt currently have, which is why I think its not sweeping correctly.

David :)

Yep the reason mine aren't right is the drivers side arm is wrong, it should be a double, articulated one.

Looks like they are available repro in the states, but the UK suppliers I spoke to couldnt get them. Looks like I might have to import a set if I can't find someone with a second hand set.
