Hi,

I have the an LT 77 so has the standard grey plastic grille, it's looking old and fadded now. I was thinking of either painting it grey again or black z28 style. Was also considering getting a plastic chrome finish.
Ive now seen this item at ricks, see link below

Camaro Grille, Billet, Upper & Lower, 1974-1977 - Rick's Camaro Parts

What do you guys recommend and have you done anything different?
any advice / pics would be great

thanks from Luke

I just repaint mine satin black every year or 2..

(it is a bit cracked here and there though)

Billet one looks nice though.. if the rest of the car does it justice..

I'd paint it grey, as I don't like billet stuff & black would just draw your attention to it. The car looks nice as it is apart from the bonnet being the wrong colour, my eyes just get drawn to the bonnet all the time, are you going to paint it to match the car??

cheers....Nige

Mine came with black upper & grey lower! Its actually a base model with LT trims fited years ago as far as I can find out. I was just about to order a grey upper from Ricks to put it back to standard (the current black plastic has a few small chips). But Im not so sure as Ive kkind of got used to the black now...... I recon grey suits yours-esp when the bonnet is the right colour

Incidentally;wasnt it only the Z28 that had body coloured bumpers for 77?
