What web sites do you visit are there any that'd be of interest to forum users/members here? I tend to visit:-

http://www.lateral-g.net/

http://www.camaros.net/forums/

http://www.pro-touring.com/

http://www.trans-amseries.com/

http://www.eurodragster.com/classifieds ... category=9 (good source of parts)

http://www.firstgencamaro.com/

Those are the basics that I visit regularly. Anyone have any more to post up?? ;) Cheers....Nige

I visit a small number regularly and some not regularly. Camaro related ones are:

www.thirdgen.org
www.camaroz28.com
www.camaros.net
www.fbodyeurope.org
www.projectkitt.com

and 3 or 4 German/Austrian forums to try to improve my German skills. There are 2 forums I avoid because of the pathetic admins and "rules" they impose - but I dont' miss them. :D

This is a new one my mate and I have set up. It's not quite ready for business yet but it won't be long. I'll let you guys know when it is :)

Otherwise, it's about the same as you evil, pro touring, lateral - g and team camaro.

Not too long, we're sorting out T&C's and disclaimers, etc. and then we should be good to go. We'd like to have a link between this site and our one. Hopefully the site administrator will see this post and say it's OK.

:) I do indeed own the Black '68. I bought it off a guy up your way. If you know the history of the car I'd love to get some details off you, if thats OK ?

Also can I get a price for some SFC's, I'm after some weld on ones but with as much ground clearance as possible because it's hopefully going to get dropped 2" all round soon. I was looking to get Hotchkis or similar but if I can save on the shipping and buy UK made, that would be good. I appreciate you need to see the car but a ballpark figure for now would be great.

We make the SFCs for the car so they are a perfect fit and no ground clearence is lost. My uncle is on this forum sometimes as he has a 3rd gen now but not sure if you got it off him or not

I've just gone through some old posts of mine, is your Uncle called Mark ? I bought the car from a guy called Bernie in Jan '08. When did your Uncle sell it ? Is there anything you can tell me about the car ? I know it was imported in 1980 and various owners have had work done on the car. But the history of the car is sketchy.

What sort of £ are your SFC's. :)

My Uncle is called Mick he sold it quite a while back he may know a bit more about it. Will tell him to drop in on the forum. SFCs range in price depending on how much extra bracing you go for but for example a 2nd gen is around £100 for a pair of SFCS plus £100 to weld them in properly and underseal, A first gen like yours are pretty similar in design.
