Im no expert on Camaro's specifically, but it does seem to me the Owner is hanging on to the fact that its been a cover car in its life, I looked at bringing one in from the states last year on a 68 that looked as good as the one youre looking at in the mag but with more engine work, converted the value in sterling was £17.5k, given you need to import it and get it to uk mot condition Yod be looking around £3k for that, so thats £20500.00 landed and on the road. Based on that alone and the paint as advised above, I would think that £21k would be the absolute Max, again Im no expert, if it were me i'd be looking at £18k to £20k. That said, a car is worth what YOU want to pay and you have to base the spend on what you have available to get the car to the position that YOU are happy with. If thats within your budget, then buy the car. If not then keep looking, but whatever you do dont fall in love with your eyes closed. Simples.
Russ.
i can understand what your sayin, but what i was sayin was if he had bought a nice 69 camaro in the uk for lets say £15k then built it to that spec it would have cost him more, on the other hand like you said import from the states it does workout but not always, i have looked into this before and on how much your gonna save its not even worth the time and hassle. at the end of the day hes got an 11second road car with a 6 speed box and that dont come cheap!!

Yeah, agree with that, it aint cheap, its down to the individual, and what theyre happy with thats about the length of it.
