need to find a delorean and make that suggestion :)

It would have taken less time to weld it up. i'm not happy with myself!!!! :(

So i fell asleep last night after dinner, so tonight is the night the headliner will be done! if you don't hear from me by Monday, i've hung myself from the garage roof.

and to your last last question, if it's not out this year i give up. as you know, working on the interior now, some of the plastic is black now, need to make a couple of small repairs where plastic has cracked here and there, clean it then paint, carpet is NPD repro fitted shaped, that needs to go in,., no sunroof sh*t to deal with on that :) custom gauge install about 60% done, one of the seats is refoamed and re leathered, other one needs stripping back and same done, need to make new parcel shelf and cover it, windows in, tint rear and side windows, refit seat belts, reinstall peddles, interior done few paint chips where i ballsed up that need to be re done, 2x special things that i can't mention yet which may take a while and then cut n buff. it doesn't seem like a lot compared to what has been done, but it's still taking forever

alright so things didnt turn out so well but its in there and covered in vinyl. While i spoke to NPD and they got one one their specialists on the case, they werent sure as to the issue, they've apparently not come across it before. They said that some modifcation is acceptable, i.e adapting screw holes to line up, any more shouldnt be necessary. I thought the original issue was that the healdliner is supposed to have a bit of a gap betwee the roof, i realised last night when i put in the dome light that this isnt the case as the dome light pull the liner up to the roof, so while i thought the problem was that the sunroof trim was pulling it higher than it need to be, this turned out not be the case, as the dome light was causing teh pinching of teh headliner come back. I will need to redo this at some stage as im not happy. It's passable at the moment but i may ask them to ship out a new one as a kind of refund or something as it's been way too much for what the manufacture says is high quality precision fit etc.

Kind of don't want to post pics as it's not a very professional fit, but i have a feeling i will get bullied into it :lolno:
