I was giving my new purchase (69 camaro) a bit more of a close look at last night......
Please excuse the daft questions from a newcomer to the Chevrolet family !

I noticed the front and rear screen have been bonded in and suddenly thought that was strange - I thought we were still into rubber gaskets in the sixties. Is that right they are bonded ??

Front screen is definitely bonded on first gens, not sure about the rear screen though.

Cheers,

Front & rear screens are bonded in on all Camaros. The stainless trim hides the edge & is clipped into place. Bit ahead of the game there compared to us in the '60's.

cheers...Nige

Not strictly true, as much as I'd hate to say it the '69 Mustang screens were also bonded in, but they obviously copied the Camaro as its screens were bonded in as early as '67. One nil to Chevy... ;)

cheers...Nige
