Have not had time to do my own thread so thought I would get things going will probably take some time to get pics up but as some of you already know my 89 convertible has been an on going project in between doing customers cars for around 6 years, I'm hoping to have her on the road this year probably not completely finished but at least I can drive her again.
Anyway Has been dropped with custom airride with Ridetech digital E3 system,Arches have been re-worked to tuck in the 20" chrome iroc rims, HOK Black paint work, C6 Z06 brakes, And so much more I cant list it all, Most bits a new or refurbished GM parts.

Can't believe nobody has commented on this. Has to be the best paint job ever seen. Now my car is leaving your workshop you may get a little more time to tinker? What needs to be done still?

Sick looking car Rocks.

@ ukzz4iroc - Thanks for bumping, hadn't seen this thread before.

The paint is pretty damn hot, black is the hardest colour to get looking straight as i hear, so i'm looking forward to seeing down the side of that thing! the thread said it should have been on the road in 2010, how did it come along? any closer Rocky?

Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Pleasure '78, it's criminal that nobody has commented till now :)

Rocky's reply will be- "It's taken longer than hoped/anticipated due to idiots like ukzz4iroc giving me hair brained projects to work on for him :)"

He, he. Keep the updates coming in mate and try and get her out for 2011 show season. See if ya can make it to the Mopar Euronats as it will be one event I will definitely make this year! End of July I think.

Peace

Well havnt put anything up for a while as been a bit busy, But nearly got the vert finished for the summer last year but as some of you know, as the car has been sitting now for approx 6 years the fuel pump was dead so have stripped the whole rear end out (which I was going to do later this year) never mind.
Anyway Tank was a bit rusty so media blasted a replacment tank and mixed up some colours I had left over then hit it with 4 coats of HS (high solid) clear, Most of the tank you wont see but at least it has more protection than standard.

Cant put the tank back in with rusty tanks straps so made up some custom stainless ones. left them satin though and didn't polish them as that would be too bling.

Well will have more pics soon but you probably wont like them, to lower the back a tad more which I was never happy with I have used smaller bumpstops which are 1/2" smaller which drops the tyres onto a part which owners of convertibles will know. The company who did the conversion very poorly fitted plates in the top of the rear arches to cover the holes which they cut so the roof folds into the back, which are just mig tacked in sealed and loads of sound deadning covering the mess. There is however just enough room to keep the roof in the back and raise the arches. So the whole back end has now been cut out and I have made some tubs to go in. So the car will roll on full drop.

I guess everyone is shocked into not replying? Mate you are a legend, that amount of love going into a fuel tank is second to none!

Keep the updates coming mate, this is going to be the nicest Zee in the Country by a mile!
