It's been a long time coming, but progress is finally being made! Engine and subframe out:

File comment:Top A-arm mounts ground off, ready for new coilover mounts.

File comment:A very grubby subframe! The bar is the locating template for welding in the DSE Coilover mounts.

The engine and gearbox - so dusty as it's been in the workshop since the beginning of time!

File comment:under all that dust lives a 327 and a TH350!

Rear panel and rear quarters - sanded down......needs new lower qtr panel, only bad bit of rot on the lower trunk floor panel.

Attachments:
File comment:Rear panel was pretty bad too, apart from the huge inch thick filler where the cut out is, the rest of the panel was mainly filler. New rear panel is being installed!

File comment:This was badly repaired when it was in the US, loads of filler was chiseld out, and the dent which was above the arch was pulled.

Looking good there Mark, bet you can't wait to get it finished, Summer's on its way

Looks like the car might have been manufactured late '67 going by the numbers on the inside of the rear 1/4 panel

cheers....Nige

Hehe, I'm itching to be driving it again, got fed up of seeing other yanks driving about in the Summer! The bodyshop knows Summer is on the way, they have a deadline to keep to :)

Looks that way, most of bits have 67 on them :)
