The axle in my 3rd gen Iroc started wailing like a good un last night and by the time i got home was making a noise like a bag of spanners in a washing machine so I'm guessing it's fooked...

Has anyone got anything lying around to get me mobile again, it's a chev 10 bolt 2.73 with factory Posi..

Ideally i'd like a 3.23:1 posi, but what have you got??

also need a better steering box as mine is looser than Jordan after a night on the malibu, adjusting it up doesn't help much, it's just worn out 150k miles will do that... ideally i'd be after a 2 and a 1/4 turn one but a 2 3/4 would do at a pinch..

Other things i need:

injectors from a 350 tpi
ESC from a 350
Knock sensor from a 350
Prom from the same

(yes I'm converting mine to 350...)

700 R-4 governor from a vette or LT1 equipped car, or even a standard one I can play about with..

Rear axle upper location beam..


Let me know what you've got cash/swaps or could even do some work in return for parts (i restore classic cars for a living)
all mechanical and welding jobs done to any level ( i usually work on everything from Astons and Mustangs to frogeye sprites and Land rovers..)

Will see what I have in stock. With the axle location beam do you mean the upper or lower panhard bar?

errr not sure, I think it's the long one that attaches to the rear of the axle, I'll have to have a closer look and see which one is actually clonking..

Rocky should have a drum rear axle? Dontcha mate?

Yep have an axle and a few steering boxes, just waiting to hear back about the panhard bar as I can supply a bar or just some bushes for ya.
