Has anyone got a 2nd gen cowl hood for sale ?

also hered that somone once was making them in the uk, anyone elso know anything about this?

I've got a fibreglass cowl panel that you could bond to your hood if you wanted to. Standard 2" high as per original 1st gen. If you take a look atb the early pics of my build thread on the projects section you'll see it screwed on an old hood I had.

Thanks for the offer :thumbup: , but i want to keep my original hood and also have a Cowl hood. So i can always swap between them when i want.

Rang afew companys in the states to get a shipping price for a Cowl hood. Cheapest so far is $370 via air and i have to pick it up from the airport.
Anyone brought one from the states? if so how much was your shipping?

Might be an idea to try Dale Edmunds at DRE fibreglass 01993 772317. He has a large inventory of moulds for American & race cars & may well have what you're looking for, hth

cheapest so far from the us is £410 but you will have to add UK VAT and any Customs charges. ( 2inch steel cowl )

Found a 2inch steel cowl at www.classicusautoparts.co.uk which are also are on ebay £440 + £30 postage

Will speak with the fibreglass contact this week

There's a 2nd gen hood on ebay for £40 in your neck of the woods - maybe combine that with Nige's cowel for a winning combo?
