The lovely tasteful orange stripes on my car are flaking and starting to look distinctly scruffy, so I'd like to sort them out.

Does anybody have any experience of this company? Phoenix Graphix http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/
This item - http://www.phoenixgraphix.com/gm/1997ss.htm - although I need to check as the picture shown is a later car!
Its the only place I've found that do them

I expect I'll pay somebody to put them on - as I want them right! Again any thoughts ?

I used these guys

problem is you have to cut to fit (no problem if you're not doing the fitting!) my mate used phoenix on his T/A and loved them though they did cost a little more... quality wise they seem the same

Thanks. I guess I could have a go myself, but the car is in excellent nick and I don't want to spoil it!

Really good cars like mine (albeit with silly low miles) go for serious $ in the US. They are rare enough here, its hard to qualitify if the SS/white-organge-hugger-stripes/30th pack adds signifincantly to the value.
I personally chose it over a LS1 car - as I can't live with that front end - but the majority seem to vote again me!

funny thing is I used to agree with you and then I saw a face-lift and it just suddenly worked - it really was one of those eureka moments.... I did think though that maybe the black was a little overpowering hence the 35th anni stripes. Then typically once I've got the car how I want her I've got to sell

thanks dude - fingers crossed, though as I said it's not a 'fire sale' so I can afford to ignore the piss takers who will inevitably offer at some stage or another

it's really just a case of trimming to length, my mate who used Phoenix didn't need to on his TA (see below, sorry for the poor/small pic, it's all I got) but that could be due to the type :?:
