Can anyone please tell me what size the retaining clip is? and where i can get one from?

Not sure where in UK, but they look pretty similar to the old 70's Ford ones in Escorts, Cortinas etc..

US ebay has them, just get a quote for shipping..

Had one reply on Ebay so far, but he wants $15 postage for just one tiny clip!

Ouch! How long can you go without one? I have friends coming over from the states in October and am asking them to bring some smaller parts over. If NPD (National parts depo) sell them for a cheap/good price let me know and i'll make it happen.

How to post pics: When writing a message, scroll down and use the "attach file" option. Where possible, a photo sharing service can be used such as Flickr, Imgur etc. The image location (usually ending in .jpg) can be copy and pasted between the ][ brackets that appear when you click the 'Img' button (you can find this button at the top of the message box).

How to post youtube vids: Click on the 'youtubeHD' button at the top of the message box and in the middle of the ][ brackets that just appeared, copy and paste everything from the youtube web address that appears after the = sign i.e if this is the url: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2cNqaPSHv0 just copy "K2cNqaPSHv0").

Yes, that looks like the crank handle, but it's just the retainer clip which i need.

Scroll down to compatibility. It shows every make/model/year that used that handle and clip.

Managed to get one in the end from American Auto Center Sutton Coldfield
