When to shakey raceway at the weekend and manged a new pb 10.43@132. Not bad considering it was 30+ degs. Hopefully shave another couple of tenths off next time and then I might arm the nitrous

To be honest I really don't know :? . The car's ready to go, but I'm in the middle of buying a new house & I don't know when we'll be moving, so everythings up in the air at the moment.

cheers...Nige

Finally for this weekend the nitrous will be getting switched on for the first time. Its just going to be a 150 shot on a button on the steering wheel as I dont know how much traction I will get at york with the extra power.

All being well I should have 9 second car after the weekend, I am trying to be positive but I have not had the best of luck this year so finger toes and everything else crossed

Well I didnt manage the 9 ,50 mph cross wind made then a bit dangerous with my only nitrous run ( just testing in 3rd gear) end up with me turning more than half a turn of the steering wheel to the left into the wind to try and go straight and ended up taking the timing box out at the end of the 1/4 mile on the right. I did manage a slight faster NA run doing 10.20@ 130.

Next season the Joyrider will have a new tricked out 540 CI BBC with 800 hp + nitrous so I should a mid low 9 sec run then.

I will not be taking the camaro to the HRD now as I have sold my short block.

The 540 short block is now a 572 ordered yesterday . Consisting of a Dart big M block Keith Black forged pistons eagle H beam rods and forged Crank. :D
