Hi all

got the normal 'maro trick of crapped out driver's side window motor... any idea of replacement cost and the best place to get one? I'd imagine that used isn't the best idea?

I replaced one for the window motors in mine. I can't remember where I go it from now.
There are several thread out there on how to do it. Its not entirely obvious - I recall that you have to drill a hole in the inside of the door in the right place, so you can then use a socket to undo a nut inside the door.
A can't recall much, other than thinking '"thank g*d for the internet and articles on how to do stuff, because it would have taken my ages to work it out on my own".

[edit] Here we are. I don't know if this is the one I used, but it looks good; http://shbox.com/page/windowmotor.html
Its all obvious to start with, bet gets more interesting:

I replaced the motor in my passenger side door, I got it off ebay from US Automotive for about £70. Was a fiddly job and had to re-drill and rivet something but can't for the life of me remember what, the process however was in my good ol' fashioned haynes manual!!
