Car Details:1988 IROC-Z, custom interior from the 90s.
After a huge down pour for a few hours this afternoon, I got into the IROC to go home.
I noticed that there was a leak on the passenger side - but not where you'd expect it.
It was running in from the three screws that secure the sun visor.

Does this mean the windscreen seal is shot?

Yeah, she's a t-top. I'd expected to see some water dripping near the rear of the glass, but not through the sun visor mounts!
Another thing to get to the bottom of once the RS is sold and work can commence.

Not unusual on 3rd gen t-tops apparently. The front seal wears, water seeps into area above windscreen and leaks out through visor holes.
Other known weak spot is the section between the two glass tops goes rusty under the trim from water leaking in there too..

yeah was going to say check the centre bar first for rust holes where the seal fits into.
