got to ask the normal question but im sure you have had this check with the mechanic, but no water in oil, oil in water? the initial overheating may have warped the heads or blown the head gaskets
Does it leak oil around the air intake, or is there exsessive oil in the air intake, as this seals to the block
Also the pick up height of oil the oil supply in the sump may need checking ( i know you said it was check but was the height checked) if too high its out of oil, but if too low it will suck to the sump ifself not allowing oil in. The bearings is usuallly the solution to the problem so it should be cured with the work that has been done
