Hey all,

just thought I would say hello. First time on here from a fellow member's recommendation.

Very pleased to find a UK club dedicated to the camaro and am eager to take a good look around.

I have had a couple of 3rd gens over the past two years but yearning for another.
I sold my last car (red one) back in august but miss the V8 life so much.

I'm fairly sure I'm an ex-owner - it's got an IROC grille rather than the Z28 one (I really didn't/don't like 3rd gen Z28 grilles)... 10.1:1 CR with some funky heads... Keith Black forged pistons... built by Robin Gray @ Autopontiac

Yey thats the one! Robin remembered the car too, in fact Dave Pollen even remembered working on this car too early 2000s, I had all the recepts.. It's def. done the rounds with the guys up in Wisbech, cambs and Alders gear box specialists. The new owner is carrying on with the mods and I believe it's now sporting a T56....

cool I've seen yet another of my old cars

That one was a bit of a beast to be honest - when I got it the previous owner had put a pair of motorbike cans as the rear silencers (Duccati IIRC) which while they looked great weren't really loud enough... had a B&M shifter which I loved... like I said I swapped in an IROC grille (and ran it for about 18months with no front plate)... again while I had it there was no LSD which made life interesting lol. The guy I sold it to had a 30th anni Z28 as well and last I heard had managed to (remember B&M shifter mentioned above) destroy 2nd gear

It was a real beast. Sheer brute force from low down. It had no LSD when I owned it either, although I sold it with a detroit truetrac LSD ready to go in with some 3.42 gears.

When did you own/sell it?

I sometimes wish that I still had it for the coming summer but I will keep my eye out for another one towards the end of the summer when prices settle, unless ..
