Hey nice to see there are some mods coming, I posted up my mods to come but unfortunatly im still saving for my EFIlive tuning suite (£650)
For the graphics I got mine from the US, just went on ebay and had a look (got mine of a dude called 'cole graphics' or something) But mine are just plain, not anniversary ones. Mine were cheap though like $50 plus about $10 or so shipping etc. Prob about £40-50 by the time they were here. If you have dealing with camaro graphics then just go with it, pick what you want most sellers are cool and ship to UK and have great service. From experience they think its cool for people in UK to have US cars
Lowering:
I have Eibach pro kit but DONT BUY THEM, the front spring rate is much better than stock and coupled with my KYB AGX shocks (which I would recommend) they are ace BUT the rears have been replace with some NO NAME lower springs from another camaro I got for bits. This is because the eibach rears are a lower inital rate of 80-120 lb/inch dual rate (or something like that?), but the point is that they are so low you actually bottom out on the lower rate before the higher rate kicks in and the rear looks way too low. I would recommend if I were to buy some more BMR, STRANO, UMI, or HOTPART as a supplier and have a look and read about their springs.
Brakes:
Mine has still got plain disks on from Woolfe Racing in Milton keynes (previous ovener put them on) along with some Bendix MKD749 semi metalic pads, apart from the occasional squeeking and dust they were pretty good with stopping and im just about to replace them but done know whether to go with the same pads again of try some ceramics ?? I think im swaying ceramic cause I am going to re-furb my alloys. But as for the disks the are good quality although I dont know what make, ill let you know if I find out. But htey have loads of meat left on after being though only one set of pads in the last 3 ish years
I have been told that although growed and drilled pads look good and may stay cooler (if on a race track) they also wear out pads much quicker by scraping off the top lay a bit with the groves. I dont know but ii still got loads on my disks anyways. Also Im in 2 minds about EBC pads, there is lots of good and lots of bad press so I dont know what to believe. A pal with a mustang said reds are good but need warming first (ceramic) and my mate with a monaro has yellows, which are much better than what he had but have worn loads and at £100 a pair I dont want a new set in 6 months
Air Intake:
I have the SLP lid (shipped from US with a K&N filter, and I have also done the underside cut out out, its much much better than it was. I also know you can get K&N induction kit similar to the volant one. They are all the same at the end of the day but i believe the open induction ones give more growl
True Duals:
Ill let you know how mine go in a few weeks (hopefully) but also remember if you lower the car there is less room and more issues with ground clearance
I have no silencer too, think I was the one who told you ?? and it much better than stock but the drone at certain rpms is bad (i turn music up) but soon Ill have the duals
sorry for the BIG message, if you need to know anything else gimme a shout. also, where about are you from??
