Hello,

I'm aftera front windscreen for a '79, new or used, depending on condition of course :) Also if you know someone that could fit it at a good price, would be great. I'm in the South of UK.

Thanks!

Ray

Hi Ray, I got the front screen for my '69 from Peter Jones 01582 881260 or 07836208478. It arrived on a next day delivery & was very well packed. Alternatively there's Allglass on 02083115663. Any carglass company from the yellow pages should be able to fit it at your home.

cheers...Nige

Thanks Linden, Jamie at Chevy parts was indeed over £100 cheaper than the rest! got a quote from somewhere for £340 plus vat, though it did include installation, but still, come on :)
Should be ordering it monday :)

Cheers!

Glad to see you've solved the screen issue. Who quoted you that sort of money? The one for my '69 was only £180.00 from Peter Jones, that was with a top tint as well  .

cheers...Nige

Strangely enough it was Peter Jones! he said £280 plus vat for the windscreen delivered, or £340 plus vat including fitting!
Allglass weren't far off at £320 fitted :o

Will let you know once i spoke to Chevy parts tomorrow if it's all arranged, don't need the screen for a couple of weeks but they recommended grabbing one while in stock incase they run out, otherwise it;s a 3-4 week wait.

Cheers!

Ray
