It's on the road, MOT'd & taxed (exempt), but it's not fully finished just as yet, though it has got a good few 100 miles on it now. Got to finish cutting back the roof, bonnet & boot & then fit the badges & generally clean it all up & detail it. Then it's down to getting some baselines on the car before taking off the single 4bbl carb & fitting the twin carbed crossram intake. I'll then get some baselines on how the single 4bbl compares to the twin set up. Hopefully it'll work out better, but if not then it'll be crossram off & single carb back on  .

here's a pic of the crossram being trial fitted

cheers....Nige

awesome, congrats :) bet your happy after the years of work you've put into it! sounds like you're nearly done, the cutting back won't take you a weekend, be interested to see how much difference the dual intakes will make, should give a few extra horses. video of it soon now the weather is nice??

The Stratos guy's experience sounds pretty shocking.

It's amazing more 'owners' who have volunteered cars for Top Gear haven't made their experience (if negative) more public...

My personal experience, and others I know who have let production companies use their car's for TV, videos or promo work have been treated with proper respect and consideration...

The owner of the Silver TVR in this vid is a friend, and he told me they put a towel under Dizzee's backside so he was no chance of marking the bodywork:
