Hi, I'm Phil and I've had my 1999 Z28 for about 18 months. Its pretty much standard apart form the IMCO Flowmaster twin pipes I had put on last year so now it sounds like a V8 should. :D

Car Details:98 Z28 convertable - Green
The exhaust is so important. I have fitted the Magnaflow Performance exhaust with the 4 stainless steel pipes. It took ages listening to the audio files to get the right sound but nothing sounds the same. The C5 I had, with the same engine, didn't sound as good as the Camaro when she starts.

Mine is mostly standard but with the brakes upgraded as the standard ones were dangerous, and suffered heavily from brake fade when travelling at speed coming into roundabouts. My wife (who used to drive the car all the time) came home really pale one day when they just wouldn't stop her. I had a similar experience. The new EBC brakes with ceramic pads have made a big difference.

The tyres are also 275x40x17 all round which I don't believe to be standard. Absoluely useless in snow and ice and have had to buy snow chains. The traction control etc doesn't help either. I also had a strutt brace fitted as being a convertible it helped to stiffen the car, it helped a lot.

I am having problems uploading photo's to show her off.

A great car though.

It always great seeing other Camaro's.

Cheers! I'm in North Bucks - just north of Milton Keynes. Don't see too many 'maros round here but I did see a white 2nd gen between Newport Pagnell and MK last year.

Not a big fan of Chokemaster, I mean Flowmaster. I like Corsa or Borla which I have now with a 3" Qtec electric cutout.
Clean looking car though. :D
