Back in the early '80's I was taking my '69 Firebird for a photo shoot for Rod & Custom UK magazine. Travelling down the M4 I inadvertantly played "catch me" with a police car, which I thought was a Capri that had been "buzzing" me for miles (long story). I wound the old girl out to 6500 revs & was pulling 145 mph. After I slowed down the "Capri" came alongside me only for me to see it was a cop car that I'd just wasted. He followed me for a few miles & then just turned off at the next junction, flashed his blue lights & I didn't see him again Lucky or what?????
