Basically you need to undo all of the bolts & get the glass out of the top of the door. Just use common sense & it should be quite simple. Fitting it back & getting everything lined up again is a pain in the butt though. Mark all of your adjusters before you strip anything off, so that you have a datum point for re assemble. Is there a problem with the glass or are you just renewing it?? cheers....Nige

Did this on my 68 when i had the windows tinted. Wasnt a bad job fairly straight forward with just a bit of fiddly lining up at the end.

Good luck

Cheers.............Tim

Is that fixed Lexan or fitted to the winding mechanism?? To be honest I don't think that the weight saving of fitting Lexan is worth all of the aggro, as the saving isn't going to be great against possible ET increases. If you want to sell your glass however, if it's tinted green I may be interested,cheers....Nige

Sorry for delay in replying been busy busy

It will be fitted lexan, I bought a whole kit as it worked out only about $100 more to buy the full kit instead of just buying the rear window which was pitted.

I will give you a shout to see if you still want the glass when its out.
