I've not forgotten this, just not had any free time to dig out the other console.

Won't be at the Ace, so would have to be posted. Was going to try and clean them up a bit and see how they come out.

Found some autosol and gave one of the supports a bit of a rub down. Cleaned up OK, but there are still quite a few small rust spots (Not visible unless you look closely though), and some slightly larger ones, but these were on the underside and won't be seen. It may be possible to get them even better with some more time and attention, and perhaps a powered polisher.

Dug the console out. It's not quite as good I as remembered, but is still usable - it was the one I was using before I stripped the car down. It's original black, but there are a few places where the vinyl is blemished. The inner plastic is cracked and partially repaired, but could do with more work. There also a couple of holes drilled for switches (currently still attached).

Thanks for cleaning the supports, if you can post another photo once you’ve finished we should be good to go. Don’t suppose you have the 4 chrome fixing screws or know where I can get some?

I think the other console needs more work than I can do to bring it to the standard I’m looking for but appreciate you posting the photos.

Here we go, spent a bit more time cleaning them up. I've tried to show some before/after to show them better.

They look great, thanks Jamie! Do you have 4 x fixing screws? I’ll PM you for payment and postal address.
