Can anyone on here advise me on the best place to get the front parking brake cable for a 2nd gen please? Ta.

Personally, I would go to RockAuto.com

1. They tend to be cheaper than UK suppliers, even after shipping costs.
2. They usually have options available. UK suppliers tend to have only 1 type available (and it's often the cheapest option) - I like to be able to buy a better quality item.

Don't pick the cheapest shipping option, as that will go via Parcel Force and you'll get stung with import duties and their 'admin fee' which can be higher than the cost of the item. Look at the next one or two up, and check that it says that UK VAT is paid, that way you've paid everything up front and there's no surprise invoices from the courier.

Also, Google for a Rockauto discount code. They are always running a 5% deal off goods.


As a 2nd option, look on ebay.com, looking for sellers using the global shipping option. There are lots that don't and will have sky high shipping costs. Best way to do it is to put in your postcode, then search and sort by lowest price with shipping.
