Crikey.

I've just joined this forum, but it looks a bit quiet around here for Gen 5 owners! Shall we start some chat? I've just bought one, no previous experience, it be orange and I keep getting in on the wrong side. Any advice on how to ensure I get in the side with the wheel much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the club.

Gen 5's are definitely allowed in but only with a supply of pictures :)

Regards making sure you get in the "correct" side, try parking the other one too close to a wall to open the door, works for me every time. :eureka: :P

Hi Andrew, thanks for the tip. Not happened yet with the Camaro. It did happen a couple of times with a Trans Am. On one occasion, there was a bunch of people round the car and I fought my way through and got in the car, only to discover the steering wheel was on the other side. So I pretended to look for something in the glove box for a while .... before getting in the other side

I'll take some photos of it some time

Found some terible pictures on my phone, so here ya go. Not too keen on the Knightrider LEDs in the mail slot, think that'll need to go.

Export model, big mirrors (not as nice, but lane changes are more confident) and Dame Edna rear lights. Also seems to have non-standard false brake duct/fog lights. And 22" rims

Get married, a wife will ALWAYS tell you what you are doing wrong in the car https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynRWWy2sWyQ&t=136s

I did get married, and I always tell my wife what she's doing wrong. I'm a terrible passenger!

Sorry, didn't mean to be rude about a CRV, a very good car. And a level of sensibleness I can't achieve, my only right hooker is a GAY cobra replica (not homophobic, that's God Awful Yellow)
