 Damn and blast !
Just checked in here and saw that Buntingford is today, at 2.45 it will now be too late for me and the weather here looks great just to put salt in the wound ...
Sunday I will be giving the '68 a gentle shakedown run to The Goat, so hope to see you there Barry .
I will be heading out early [ AA card in hand and mobile fully charged ]just in case of any unpleasant surprises on the way up there .
It is 4 years since my car was last on the road so it will be interesting , hopefully all will be well .

Hope all that went to Buntingford had a great day, it really is an event to get to if you like a wide range of Cars, bikes and trucks in a nice location .

Dave, probably going to Capel Manor today, it's just off J25 of the M25. £7:50 on the gate, and is a big show.

Well, a good weekend.
Buntingford was great on Saturday, packed out with nice cars, great weather.

Sunday morning drove out past the junction for Capel Manor, saw all the cars on their way there.
Because I had an early meeting at The Goat with firebird68.

Dave brought out his car, not surprisingly a '68 Firebird, for a shakedown run.
The car is gorgeous, worth the last four years, Dave.
Too bad this site won't let me upload decently high-res photos.

I then made it back to Capel Manor in time for the show.
Not that many at The Goat, not surprising with a big show so local.
The promised dry-till-evening weather didn't quite happen, but a good show regardless.

Sounds like you've had a busy weekend! Would love to see Dave's Firebird, sounds like it was worth all the effort

There's a handy website that's good resizing images, easy to use and free: http://compressimage.toolur.com/

Should help bring them down to around 2-3mb.

I ended up going to Brooklands for a few hours with the Camaro, never been before quite a good turn out and then 90% left when it started raining. Quite a few gens of Camaro's turned up, must have been about 15 or so in total. Found a few issues with mine on the bumpy roads - exhaust hangar rubber broke at the top, so enjoyed the lovely sound of clanging the whole trip. Rear tyre rubs on bigger bumps, so will need to raise the suspension a bit. Windscreen wipers work though :D

Must have just missed you ...
It was a bit quiet and I had stuff to do at home so I left earlier than usual.
Yes those are American Racing daisey mags, Don't see them much this side of the pond but a nice old skool touch on any muscle car
